What are some of the best methods of tubing leak detection means available for deep water operations.
I am looking for something that is very efficient and economical.

Please may you provide more detail of the particular situation that you have in mind or the situation that you are in.

The more specific you are the more likely it is that you will stimulate a response. Off the top of my head, things like :

1. Is this during installation
2. .. or ... some time into field life ?

.. If during installation, then things like :
a. What device are you testing against (eg plug and prong)
b. What pressures
c. What fluids are you in (type, density)
d. Age of well
e. Inclination

... If during field life, then things like :
a. Age of well
b. Is rig over the well or is it hooked up to production system (eg FPSO)
c. Inclination

What have you already tried and/or considered.
