Riser Fairings
Hello everyone and wishes for a happy new year.
I am after some mitigations for wellhead fatigue and found some information on riser fairings while searching the web.
Angola does not have strong currents, compared to other areas of the world, so I am not too sure about the impact these tools may have.
Is there anyone out there who used them before and can give some feedback? Which kind of gain are we talking about? What is the increase in running time (%) compared to 'slick' riser joints? Can they be left on the riser joints between wells?
