Clearing wax deposits on tubing

We are currently looking to start a drilling campaign on one of our well head tower in West Africa. We attempted to drift all the donor wells prior to rig arrival and found that two of the wells had significant wax deposits mixed with large quantities of sand in the tubing. We have tried pumping wax dissolver with very little success. We have tried running gauge cutters, but due to the quantity of wax we are making very little progress and there is a high risk of getting stuck. Coil tubing on the well head tower prior to rig arrival is not an option. So we are looking at options for fixing this with the rig. We have got a 5½ completion, so skinny pipe is an option, but what I am looking for is peoples experiences with solving this issue. Have you use a jetting option, a rotating option (some kind of mill) or another option?
