Land rig-move at night

Hi folks

We have been discussing the optimisation of land-rig moves.

Apparently there's a legacy that "we are only allowed to do the minimum amount in the hours of darkness".

We are looking at conducting a Risk Assessment and also building a matrix of "Permitted Activities" (I would say "Night-time activities", but already hear the howls of laughter at the innuendo!!).

For sure, floodlights would be used, and it's unlikely that we'd raise the mast during the hours of darkness.

There's also the issue of 'driving at night', though we are looking at proper escorts; as much to protect other road users from themselves as to protect the convoy.

We're interested in what others have done to address/overcome this opportunity.
