Removing a cemented sacrificial stinger

Hi,
A question on the unconventional.

I have some friends who have a sacrificial stinger cemented in a well. The stinger is made from L80 tubing. Plans have changed and they need to remove a substantial length of cement and tubing from the well.

The normal approach is to mill the tubing and cement out of the way. That is fine but mills are often not very good at removing cement and in this case we are talking of hundreds of meters of cemented tubing to remove.

Does anyone have any experience or a strong opinion as to the use of a mill tooth bit instead of a mill for this task? i.e. to attempt to drill out the obstruction rather than mill it out.

Thanks
