Slip crushing in 2 7/8 Drill pipe

we are planing a TTRD well using 20.000 ft of 2 7/8 10.4 # XT 27 connection (3. 3/8" OD), the techical data sheet says that the conventional elevator could be used to lift only 53.000 pounds. the recommendation is to use liftin nubbins, but that means double number of connections (A lot of time and money). we are trying to find a slip elevator but its not recommended because could cause slip crushing problem due to the string weight is 198.000 pounds.

According to your experience, what would be the maximum lenght of this kind of pipe that could be run using slip elevators without having problems?
