Tripping - "Manual Derricks"
13 December 2013 Community,Can I ask that you share your experience.
I am am currently working on optimising some cyber rigs which is going really well. However I am faced with a manual rig which trips on average 10 stands per hour!! When I start to ask questions I am told things like, "you can't use rope, it is outlawed, and it can cause a manual handling incident" and manual handling is something we can't argue with. So the winch is used. So community, do you experience the same issue, if so how have you optimised this operation?
