MPD Automatic Control Systems
30 November 2016 Are the industry standards that one should specify when contracting an MPD supplier for the operation of maintaining constant bottom hole pressure? For example what assurance can they provide to indicate that when making connections, for example, that the BHP will indeed maintained at the programmed pressure? There are rumors that Statoil have a +/- 2.5 bar tolerance. How is this criteria verified by the various providers?1 Answer(s)
