mpd background gas

Esteemed members,

I would like to pose a few questions to the Managed Pressure Drilling community. 

1. What role does background gas readings play in operating MPD? 
2. Does it have an influence on ECD programming or execution? 
3. If so how? 
4. For ECD programming which takes precedence, Coriolis readings or background gas?
5. What is the limit for gas content in the return flow for Coriolis readings to remain meaningful? 
   
   Can anyone suggest a good source of information on this subject?
