"Optimizing High-Density Drilling Fluids: Best Weighting Agents for ≥ 18 ≥18 ppg and ≤ 23 ≤23 ppg Mud"
31 January 2025Which weighting agent do you prefer for HPHT wells with mud weight ≥18 ppg and ≤23 ppg?
Considering,
- Barite have limitations of solid settling, have you ever used barite for more than 19 ppg mud. How you countered the solid content and mud rheology challenges.
- Give overview of using hemetite, Calcium carbonate, magneseterta oxide and other weighing agent. what could be more economical and sustainable solution. considering the HTHP well of ± 20,000 ft and ±380 DEG F BHT
