Towing JU Rig North Sea
10 July 2011 Dear colleagues,In the North Sea (say. southern part of North Sea) ,and other parts of the world, what are the weather limit applicable before the drilling contractor/warranty surveyor allows the JU rig be towed??
For example what is the significant wave ht, period and wind speed allowable? In SEA it is often 1.5 m, 10 sec and 20 knots.
The reason that I ask is because we are being fed all sorts of conflicting information, so I am polling the membership to see what the "range" of answers is likely to be.
Thankyou all, and I look forward to the usual standard of responses.
Kind regards
Edwin
