API Casing Marking

I'm Qinghua from Dongying Mingde Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd, manufacturer of slotted casing pipe. Currently we have a client who wants to purchase the slotted liner (slotted casing pipe) from us, and there is a problem about the marking. He insists that the original marking, like stenciling and stamping on the green pipe should not be covered after threading in the threader. As we know the threader will coat the threaded casing with black paint and the stenciling information will be covered, as well as the stamping information, but the threader will stamp and stencil the original heat number and lot number on the pipe to track the base pipe.

I have read API 5CT, and cannot find the clear instruction for the problem, will you please get us through it?
