Drilling Rig Computer Hardware

As a software developer for the Drilling side of the business, I am
interest in knowing the capability of the computer hardware on the
rig so I can program accordingly. I have submitted a proposal to
several TIGs in the SPE to actually start a poll of interested
members to define the capability of their computer equipment on
various types of rigs. Unfortunately none of the TIG administrators
ever posted my proposal or submitted it to the SPE for consideration
of collecting the data. I therefore would like to ask for your
comments on the subject and see if you are aware of any survey
information which may have already been done. Attached is a
spreadsheet of a possible Survey Form. Thanks for your help.
