Running long 7" liner
11 February 2013Hi folks,
We are planning to run 10000 ft of 7" liner from 6600 ft to 16800 ft in Ujung Pangkah, Indonesia. The well have very long tangent section at 88 deg inc. The hole size is 8½ × 9⅞" hole. The mud we use is 11.5 ppg SBM. The formation type will be passing through is mostly claystone with the carbonate in the very bottom close to section TD. We plan to use Baker Flexlock Liner Hanger with ZXP packer and 7" liner TSH wedge 563 connection. The cement height is about 1000 ft and centralized each joint using SpirOlizer. Do you have any experience running long liner? Is there any special concern we need to consider? It would be beneficial for me if you have any program or procedure that can be shared to me.
