Recovering 7" EZSV Remains Above 5" Liner

We are about to workover a well with 9-5/8" casing, 7" liner and 5"
liner below. During the original DST 20 years ago a 7" EZSV was set
to isolate a zone and subsequently drilled out. The remains of the
7" EZSV are now sitting ontop of the 5" liner and have to either
drilled out or fished to access the 5" liner. Has anyone had
success in similar situations before or suggestions on the best way
to deal with the situation without damaging the liner top?
