Inspection criteria - Buying casing from another operator

Hello forum,

We are working on a project onshore Turkey and are looking to inspect and potentially purchase existing casing being stored in a local pipe yard. It currently belongs to another operator that has gone inactive.

We don't have the finer details yet of how long it's been sitting and what thread compound it was stored with (storage or running).

I am looking to you for recommendations for inspection criteria on this pipe. I see API 5CT describes inspection for NEW casing from the mill.

As a potential purchaser of this pipe I believe any request is reasonable and am wondering if there are any other “standard” or specific inspections we can require to determine it is “fit for purpose”.

Looking at 9-5/8" and 7" to start with.
