The Turkey International Steel Exhibition (Metal Expo 2023) is the only professional steel industry exhibition in Turkey. The exhibition is organized by the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association and managed by Turkey Skyline Trade Fairs. The aim of the exhibition is to establish a platform for communication between Turkey's steel manufacturing and steel product import and export trade with the world.

The exhibition is a professional event focused on a wide range and multi-level aspects of steel manufacturing, steel products, related technologies, and services. The exhibition has been successfully held for four sessions, and its scale has been increasing as its influence expands. The exhibition radiates to most neighboring countries, and even in the case of pandemic impact, companies from around the world still participate.

The previous session of the exhibition was held from September 28 to October 1, 2022, with an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters. A total of 326 companies from around the world participated, attracting over 13,000 professional visitors, nearly 1,000 of whom came from various parts of the world. Due to the expanding influence of the exhibition, the next session will increase the exhibition area, with an expected exhibition area of 18,000 square meters. Meanwhile, with the global economic recovery and the weakening of the pandemic impact, more exhibitors are expected to participate.

In the surrounding regions of Turkey, including Central Asia and the Middle East, professional exhibitions in the steel industry are rare. This exhibition will further strengthen trade and communication in the steel industry between the Middle East and Central Asia.
