SIMOPS Matrix - Concurrent Drilling, Construction & Production

Hi folks

A client of ours has asked us to help develop a SIMOPs matrix to cover simultaneous drilling, construction and production.

They are about to start drilling with a jack-up over a newly-installed Wellhead jacket (WHP).  Initially all the construction was planned to have been finished before the rig arrived, the rig would drill and complete all four wells, and then the production operations would start, with gas flowing to the bridge-linked production platform.

However, as is the case more often than not these days, the rig will be arriving late and the jacket has only just been installed.

The team had expected to be doing some minor construction work on the WHP.  Now it is likely that construction work will still be ongoing when the rig is drilling, and that the rig will not have finished the wells before it is required to bring the facility on stream to meet the gas commitment.

Please may members share with us any SIMOPs matrices and procedures that they have that cover this, along with any risk Assessments that you might have.
