(4-straight) bladed stabilisers in soft formations. (Wellbore enlargement)

21 November 2011 Many years ago I noted that bladed stabs were stated as a no-no in soft formations. This DD manual stated that the blades simply caused wellbore enlargement and were too be avoided.

Comments, thoughts views, experiences appreciated.
