"Hopping" BOP's By Collapsing Slip Joint on DP

Anyone performed this operation by closing ram on drillpipe sub
to "hop" BOP's between subsea wells with semi on same anchor
pattern. I am particularly interested in risk assessments to reduce
risk ALAP.
