Pre-making BHA's Onshore
04 August 2005 An operator encountered a problem with pre-making BHAs onshore. Adamaged connection (split in the box) was noted by a directional
driller who was checking a spud assembly. It would seem that a heavy
item had been placed on top of the assembly, which had flexed and
led to the damage.
