Benefits and pit falls of Drilling 12¼″ with reamer to open upto 1"

Dear All,

I am currently planning some horizontal wells (some medium reached and some pregnant lady profile).  I m concerned about running the production 9⅝" csg to landing point.  Hence, I am thinking of drilling the 12¼" with rotary steerable followed with a reamer to open up a to 1" for ease of running 9⅝" casing. 

Can you pls share your experiences good/bad.

I am thinking it would be bad for hole cleaning and I would need to put some hole cleaning device on my 5.5" DP.

What about cementing 9⅝" csg in 1" hole?
