Which Azimuth for Horizontal Wells

15 August 2015 Gentlemen, I need your help !
I'm planning to drill an horizontal well (1700m drain). the problem is that the reservoir engineering department want to perform a DST bare foot at +/-600m (Open Hole DST)...may concern is, is it safe to perform this DST knowing that the well is drilled in the direction of the Maximal Stress. is there any risk to loose the well while performing this DST. I mean that the well will collapse under the Overburden pressure.
