Land rig with DP in Derrick

I was wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of moving
1500-2000 HP land rigs short distances (<2km) with the derrick up
and drill pipe racked back. Our Block in Oman has reasonably large
flat gravel areas between the sand dunes so we are looking at ways
of minimising our rig moves because they are a significant time and
cost element of the overall well.

Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated.
