Project management in complex well's
23 June 2016 From the mid 90's supervisors, ops geologists, drilling contractor and key third party personnel often became more integrated in the planning of wells via a more multidisciplinary integrated and a far more disciplined project management approach. Some kept this simple and others made "mountains out of molehills"In my view. Because that's what intelligent oil field people generally do!
What does this forum see as the essential
- elements of success?
- elements of failure?
- lesson to be learned and pitfalls to avoid.
Where-as well's become more and more complex this is an area in my view where there is still room for organisational, planning, implementation and control measures improvements.
