Directional Drilling Mode

26 September 2017 Hi everybody,
Which mode of drilling (Slide or Rotate) has more negative effect to mechanically activation of shale?
I mean in addition to geomechanical issues such as maximum stress and orientation of well trajectory, mechanically stressed shale or ..., from point if directional driller and engineer, which mode of drilling has more negative effect to worsen the well bore condition?
