Adjustable Gauge Stabilisers

Gents,

Though the idea is excellent, I wonder about the technical
reliability of commercially available products.
Can you fine gentlemen of the Spread community let me have your
comments on the applications and reliability of these tools.
The things i am interested in are;
Do they have issues with their seals when run with certain base oils?
Do they need a particular hydraulic regime - and how forgiving are
the published figures in this respect?
What is the most common form of failure....etc, etc....

Many thanks in advance........Chris Henderson (aka Hendo)
