Horizontal HPHT wells

10 March 2009 I'm working on a feasibility study for an operator and would like to
hear from anyone who has direct experience or knowledge of horizontal
HPHT wells. The well I'm looking at is planned to reach a TVD of
17,500 ft with MD of 22,000 ft. Horizontal section approx 5,000 ft.

In particular I'm interested in:
1. Examples of any wells that have been drilled worldwide for
comparison purposes.
2. Drilling/completion issues encountered, especially any
problems/risks due to drilling horizontally as opposed to vertically.
