Inflow Testing
18 April 2020
I have misplaced my Horner Plot Spreadsheet I use when inflow testing. Can any of the forum members share their's.

There does not appear to be very clear guidance on performing Inflow Tests or Negative Tests out there. What is your experience and what procedure would you recommend as best practice?

Tom,
There is a serious lack of acceptance criteria for all barrier verification tests worldwide, I have seen "0" psi to 10% of test value used as acceptable leak rates.
The only formula that actually determines an allowable leak rate came from API RP 14H which was then carried over into API 6AV2 (2014) and it relates to SSSV & SSV, however many IOC's have used this as a basis to then back calculate what they determine as acceptable.
note any barrier components that are normally operated closed during well production should be leak tight.
Have also attached latest version of API 6AV2
