X-Com Cameron/Schlumberger Cyber chair operations.
11 December 2020
Looking for any training material in ppt or pdf format in relation to the subject and in particular to the operation on the HMI Screens and Touch Pad. I am due to reactive a rig which has X-Com Cyber chair system from Cameron/Schlumberger which is not widely used in general and hardly any training available unlike Cyberbase Operator & Amphion from NOV.

Got some Cameron Operational Manuals but they are more and less the same as NOV's and do not provide sufficient information.
Is there anybody that could help me out on this and willing to share with me.

I am not going to reproduce the training material as it is not worth it due too very limited use in general and there is no market for the system. I be happy in return for exchange of other related material.

Thanks

Hi Paul
Thanks for your reply. I follow up on this. I knew the RGU were getting a new DS-6000 but did not know it had panniers for X-com and training material. I follow up on this but doubt it they would part with any training material. I try anyway.

Tony

Hi Tony,

I am familiar with X-com system. But the X-com cyberbase system I mean was produced by the Norwegian company TTS. If that's what you are after I can try and find some documents for you.

Based on what your lines, I think TTS got sold to Cameron!! so it will be better if you include TTS as a keyword in your search instead of narrowing the search for only Cameron/Slb.

Good luck.

Tony, get in touch with Phil Hassard at Robert Gorden University:
p.hassard@rgu.ac.uk
They have a DS 6000 simulator with X-Com panniers and training material.
They provided the training for the Prospector 5 & 1 and others.
