Riser fairings

06 September 2015 Just wanted to reach out to the wider audience and see if anybody has any experience with riser fairings. We have run the fairings on the top 500ft of riser from VIV solutions, and got caught in a pretty nasty 5 knot loop current (ADCP reading not DP current!!), on the bright side we were able to stay latched up, however now at the end of the well as we are pulling riser, we have discovered that a goodly number of or fairings are AWOL. So I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem, and or if there are any alternatives to the VIV solutions fairings that you may have used in high current environments?
