Completions Performance Workshop
14 July 2025I’m back in Jakarta after a fantastic 12 days in Baku, where Duncan Mackay and I facilitated a 3-day Completions Performance Workshop.
The first day covered Technical Limit thinking (a powerful mindset without which any performance will be sabotaged by the great unwashed who falsely claim that the application of Technical Limit has a negative impact on Safety), Human & Operational Performance and explored People, Process, Techology, Leadership, Planning and Communication.
Over the subsequent 2 days, 65 people reviewed the Rig Work Instructions (RWI) for 7 types of completions on 7 platforms.
The breakout groups peeled back the layers of ILT and mis-applied lessons to reveal up to 5 days of operational improvements.
We leave it in the good hands of those who understand the mindset and concepts.
“Those who say it can’t be done should get out of the ways of those who are DOING it”.
Oh, and for the most part, we had fun!
